While learning about Dr Martin Luther King Jr, we will stress the importance of dreams and how they can help impact change in the world.  Our preschool kids will utilize the iPads to watch parts of Dr. Kings' famous "I have a dream speech" and will focus on the idea that everyone should be treated equally no matter what color their skin, hair or beliefs. They will do an activity with brown and white eggs to reinforce the idea that just because things look different on the outside, they are the same on the inside and that is what really matters.  They will also do a group activity to focus on working together to make their own class rectangle flag, where each child will contribute a piece to  make the flag complete.
