Last week, as you have seen, the preschoolers were very busy exploring the pumpkins. They were weighing, measuring, touching and decorating the pumpkins; they were counting seeds, they danced around the pumpkins; and on Friday they were cooking and tasting what delicious recipes people in America can make using pumpkins. Children had wonderful experiences with pumpkins throughout this week. Surely from now on they will see much more in pumpkins then merely a decoration for Halloween. |
