From traditional Mexican dress to traditional foods, this week the children learned about the Mexican culture. We had teachers who were very willing to share their customs with the kids in a hands on demonstration of the culture by bringing in special items from home. Some of the kids even learned how much work goes into making those yummy tortillas. All the children enjoyed a Mexican Fiesta complete with soft tacos for lunch and a Pinata Party to end the celebration. What a fun way to learn the importance of differences within our cultures.
