Everyone enjoys a trip to the ballpark! This year, Kids Kare kids were able to enjoy a behind the scenes tour of Chukchansi Park, home of the Fresno Grizzlies. The kids were able to see things that not everyone is able to see, including the dug out, the underground player warm-up areas, the press box and media room. They also learned about some of the athletes that once called Fresno home and who are memorialized in the "Fresno Athletic Hall of Fame" and were even taught about how a baseball is made. It was a morning that these kids will never forget, especially the next time they are out at a ballgame! |
