Overall, the two-day long activity was a success!!!!! We started out yesterday by talking about the president and showed the children pictures of the candidates who are running for president, as well as the White House. The discussion included information about what the president does and the important decisions that are made in the White House. Then the children got to create a voting box, and had a primary election to narrow down thier choices of what they were voting on. Finally, today was the day they got to "Cast thier vote" in the Ballot Box. The results were tallied and the winners announced!!! What a great learning experience for our children.
