We have come to the end of our journey with our beautiful butterfly's. It is now time to say goodbye and release them. We asked the children what other animal lives in a meadow? They decided that turtles must live in the meadow, so they made turtles shells and went off on a slow-paced adventure through the school. Through the wonder of dramatic play the children were able to explore, make choices, and ultimately followed their Mama turtle back to class. Some of the other fun activities they did was frog jump, bumblebee tag, and made playdough bird nest. |
