The preschool children each had the opportunity to contribute to the "community soup". After reading the book "Stone Soup", and discussing the moral of the story, we learned that life sometimes isnt what we have, but what we can contribute. Each child brought in a small baggie of veggies which were added to the soup, when they tasted the end result, it was a great success.... and a very delicious creation, all their own. |
