A Visit To Hillcrest Farm | Jun 29, 2006 | << More to News | This week Kids Kare children visited Hillcrest Farm. They had a science lesson on steam and learned how the train operates. They also learned about the history of trains and the involvement of President Lincoln in the establishment of the railroad. With all this new knowledge children boarded the little steam train on which they enjoyed an exclusive ride. Children also went on a nature walk passing a swinging bridge (scary…) and crawling through a tunnel leading to a castle! But that is not all! The nice and enthusiastic instructors at this enchanting place taught the children some gold rush games! Playing the bucket brigade left children really wet… Everybody had a blast and marked this event as something they definitely want to experience again next year! |
