Kids Kare Schools offers a Toddler Care option for children as young as 18 months at our Kids Kare West, Kids Kare River Bluff and Kids Kare Owens Ranch locations. Our Toddler Program is designed to help facilitate the establishment of close-knit relationships. Each child is paired with a specific teacher (who they will have every day ) with a ratio of 1 adult assigned to no more than 6 children. This practice gives the Toddler Teacher the ability to truly get to know their young students, and thus enables them to better understand their individual needs and preferences.
As you know, toddlers are very inquisitive and just love learning new things! At Kids Kare, early math and science skills are awakened through various activities using colors, sorting and counting, as well as projects that involve mixing, measuring and pouring. Our use of books, storyboards and fun finger-play encourage early reading skills while reinforcing small motor development. gThese daily happenings, along with music, movement activities and arts and crafts will provide your toddler great "Fun while Learning!"
At Kids Kare we use the "family style" method of serving during meal times. Family styles meals encourage social interaction, promote togetherness, and allow for teacher support where it is required. For children who are new to using forks and spoons, it is essential that teachers are present and available to help with these new skills. By having a full-time cook at each school we are able to offer fresh cooked, healthy meals every day, providing children with breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. At Kids Kare you never have to worry about providing meals for your child, we take care of it for you!
When choosing a care center for your child, safety is obviously one of your top concerns. All employees have been fingerprinted and passed an extensive background check through the Department of Justice. Each Kids Kare location is equipped with a controlled entry system where doors remain locked throughout the day and anyone requiring entrance must be "buzzed" in. All visitors to the center are required to furnish a picture ID upon request, and our state of the art camera system allows constant monitoring of all classrooms and play yards by our Director. Our goal to be on the cutting edge of technology gives your young child the opportunity to experience educational play on Apple computers and iPads and allows you to "face time" with your child during the day as you both ease into this new phase.
