This week we're studying owls. We have learned that they are nocturnal animals, meaning they sleep during the day but are awake at night. We've also discovered the type of sound they make and we've examined how wide their wings can spread. With their wings helping them fly, their wings also help them fly fast. And of course with our lesson on owls, we had to have a fun activity which included making our own owls out of cookies and candy corn!
