| Lemon and Igloos | | Dec 06, 2006 | << More to News | | Learning our letters is a sweet experience, however this week it turned to be a very sour occurrence! This week our preschoolers familiarized themselves with the letter L. One of the ways they have implemented this learning was through tasting LLL Lemons! Yet this “acidic” start later became a sweet one as the young children made their own sweet LLL Lemonade! We have lots of warm experiences at our preschool, this week we took a turn to the cold side by discussing Alaska and Eskimos, nevertheless the building material we used for our igloos this year, were soft and warm. Children were very proud of their tender cotton ball Igloos! |
