Visiting the Airport | Jan 10, 2007 | << More to News | This month the preschoolers at Kids Kare Schools learn about aviation and space travel. Children will be engaged in relevant arts and craft projects, such as making a spaceship, an airplane, and an astronaut. They will count and sort airplanes and stars, and they will all “experience” flying by reading the book “Going on an airplane” and examining the vivid pictures in it. Yet the highlight of this theme learning is visiting the airport and witnessing real planes! Preschoolers at one of our schools were very fortunate today to be able to stand close to an actual airplane and even sit in the pilot’s seat! |
