March 17 is St. Patrick’s Day, the national holiday of Ireland. At Kids Kare Schools children explore the color green, dance around shamrock shapes, hunt for “real” gold coins, and make colorful bright chalk rainbows in the backyard.
Today children have been making a Leprechaun Pie. They placed a vanilla wafer in the bottom of a paper cupcake liner, dollop pistachio pudding and green whipped topping over the cookie, and conclude the project with placing a lucky foil wrapped chocolate coin on top. This turned to be a delicious, fun activity. On Friday, March 16th, children and staff members will wear green and have a Happy pre St. Patrick’s Day.
