Six docents from the Fresno Met Museum came to one of our locations this morning. This is one activity to be held in all our schools throughout this summer. In these visits children will be taught about and experiment with various art techniques. The children were broken down into age groups.  Each group focused on a particular theme such as sculpture, cityscapes, print making, Native American basketry & jigsaw puzzles.  The children loved it!  The projects were creative and beautiful.  We are grateful to the Met museum for including us in this exciting educational activity, and for the docents who did a terrific job!!  The children expressed their enthusiasm, giving such statements as "It was fun to try something new." "The basket project was fun to assemble." "It was cool!!"
