Gateway Ice Center opened their gates to our children once again. This was a true escape from the heat outdoors. The icy rink welcomed the excited children with a pile of “snow” to leap into. Some children who master skating were “floating” around the rink, while others were taking baby steps holding on to the fence, their proficient friends, or an experienced teacher. The hot chocolate and cookie break were highly appreciated by the freezing children before returning to spin more on the smooth frosty surface. |
