Today was St. Patrick’s Day, however our Mr. Chad did not wear a leprechaun hat instead he put on a “mad scientist hat!” Three schools had the pleasure of having Chad share with them a hands-on science event. Children were fascinated to observe and take actual part in creating monitored and safe chemical reactions. So what did they experience? A chemical reaction of “elephant’s toothpaste, the creation of bubbles using dry ice and creating polymer instant worms. It was delightful to observe the children watching in awe as diet coke turns into a 25-foot geyser. The “mad scientist” entertained the school age children and grabbed their attention throughout the show. They are waiting for him to return with new “magic” in their summer vacation!
You are welcome to view some videos in which you may observe the fun children experienced throughout this exploration venture!
