Have you ever wondered what an erupting volcano looks like? Well, this week the children had an opportunity to create their own mini volcano and actually cause it to erupt on demand! Our preschool friends were wonderstruck by the foaming “lava” that trickled down the sides of their class volcanoes. Additionally, our friends learned a little about Hula dancing, and created their own grass skirts and leis for their Hawaiian Luau. This week is always a favorite for both children and staff alike as even our teachers get into the act of enjoying their week long Hawaiian interlude.
