In celebration of Cinco De Mayo, we are creating arts and crafts including a pinata. We also included a parade and at the end of the parade we celebrated with a pinata filled with treats. We each got a turn to try and break the pinata open. Besides all of the festivities, we also learned the history behind the celebration of Cinco De Mayo. Cinco De Mayo is celebrated because it is when the country Mexico gained their independence. |
