We celebrate Saint Patrick's Day each year on March 17th. The festive holiday has everyone wearing green so they don't get pinched… our preschoolers are actively involved in many theme activities. They are making a leprechaun pie, they dance to Irish music with green streamers, they create lucky leprechaun hats and shimmering shamrocks and they will play with green playdough and mix green colors. Our grade-schoolers were also enthusiastically involved with this special holiday doing activities throughout the week which included making leprechaun shapes, cooking potato soup, going on shamrock and gold coin hunts, researching the day’s history and customs via the internet using their powerful computers and much more.
